Anti-wrinkle

Anti-wrinkle treatments are most commonly known as Botox or botulinum toxin. Botox is actually just a brand name, although it is the most well-known brand, there are several, other, reputable brands in the UK, for, the same type of treatment. They are a type of neurotoxin that relaxes facial muscles to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

How do I know how many Areas I need?

This is something that can be discussed at your consultation if you are unsure. We have listed the most common 3 treatment areas below, we are advanced trained so we can also offer full upper and lower face ie Masseter, Platysmal Bands and Gummy Smile Correction

Frown lines/11 lines

You can see frown lines, sometimes called glabellar lines or 11 lines, between your eyebrows. Botox can be used to cure those lines because it is designed to significantly reduce deep wrinkles as a result of continual facial creases.

Forehead lines

If you want to smooth out the wrinkles and fine lines on your forehead, Botox treatment is the answer to your problem. The treatment also works well both as a preventive measure for stopping deep horizontal furrows from developing and as a treatment for existing ones. (Forehead lines must be treated in combination with frown lines to achieve an effective result)

Crow’s Feet

The lines you can see on the outside of your eyes are called lateral canthal lines, or crows feet in simple terms. They show up when you grin or close your eyes in a usual manner. Using Botox in these areas might help minimise the lines achieving a smoother and younger-looking appearance.

Botox is fermented by the bacteria (clostridium botulinum) that cause botulism.

In its native, unrefined form, if swallowed, the toxin can cause Botulism, which is fatal. You should not get Botulism from Botox injections because the dose is too low.

Botox is a brand name for Botulinum Toxin A; other trusted brands of Botulinum are, Azzalure, Relfydess, Nuceiva and Bocouture.  All are safe and effective, all are licensed, prescription only medicines.

There is a growing market for unlicensed brands from China, Korea and Russia (not legally available in The UK) being bought by unethical or unqualified individuals who often advertise their treatments at a lower price. These counterfeit products are often manufactured without proper quality controls, may contain harmful substances, and can be dangerously misbranded or contaminated.

Botox is a prescription drug. That means it should only be administered by a licensed healthcare provider, such as a doctor, nurse practitioner, or registered nurse under supervision. Medical professionals are trained to:

  • Use only FDA-approved, pharmaceutical-grade products sourced through legal supply chains

  • Properly assess your medical history to ensure you're a safe candidate

  • Inject Botox accurately to avoid nerve damage, asymmetry, or complications

  • Handle adverse reactions if they occur

Choosing a health care professional to administer your treatment ensures it is both safe and effective. We follow strict protocols, maintain sterile environments, and are bound by ethical and legal standards that protect patients.
